Formerly known as Lumii, the company chose to rebrand because its name had become too closely associated with the lighting industry. We were commissioned to develop a new brand identity, together with a comprehensive set of brand guidelines.
The new identity needed to appeal to architects and specifiers, conveying clean lines, simplicity and a premium feel. The logo icon was designed to be both distinctive and meaningful, representing the letter 'e' while also evoking sound waves. Practicality was equally important, as the logo would need to be cut into product materials and embossed onto fabrics, so it was designed to reproduce cleanly across a variety of manufacturing processes.
The accompanying brand guidelines provide clear direction on logo usage, typography, colour palettes and visual hierarchy, ensuring the brand is applied consistently across all communications.
